What is taula.ai’s “Your restaurant website in 2 minutes”?

It is a free preview of a restaurant’s website that taula.ai builds on the spot from the restaurant’s Google listing. You type the restaurant’s name and town (or its Google Maps link), your mobile and your email, and in a minute or two you see the website with the name, address, phone number, opening hours and some introductory copy. It is not published: it is kept for 7 days so the restaurant can decide.

Why does taula.ai ask for a mobile number and an email to show the website?

Because building each preview costs money — the Google lookup and writing the copy with AI — and the mobile number and email keep abuse out. They also let taula.ai help the restaurant publish it, if it wants. Google only receives the restaurant’s name or link; the details are in the privacy policy.

How much does it cost to publish the website from the preview?

The website is included in the taula.ai plans: Basic, at €9.99 + VAT (€12.09) a month, publishes it at yourname.taula.ai, and with Pro, at €24.99 + VAT (€30.24) a month, it can run on the restaurant’s own domain, which is billed separately. The first 30 days are free and need no card, and there is no lock-in.

What happens if taula.ai cannot find my restaurant on Google?

If the name and town do not bring it up, the quickest fix is to paste the link to the restaurant’s Google Maps listing; an attempt that does not find the listing does not count towards the daily limit. If the restaurant has no Google listing, it can still sign up and type its details in by hand in the dashboard.

Does the preview website use photos from Google?

No. taula.ai never publishes photos from Google or the internet, because they are not its to publish. The preview comes without photos, and the restaurant adds up to six of its own from the dashboard when it signs up.
