The maths
The first year, added up
Twelve months of fees at each vendor’s published prices, without resOS’s first-month discount or its add-ons (“Reserve with Google” is €7.99 a month). taula.ai’s exclude VAT; the resOS page does not say whether its prices include it. If you take fewer than 25 online bookings a month, resOS Free has no fee. And they are not the same feature for feature: see the table above.

The part that does not favour us
When resOS suits you better than we do
- If you want guests to book without leaving Google: resOS has the “Reserve with Google” add-on, at €7.99 a month. taula.ai puts the booking link on your Google Business Profile, and guests go to the restaurant’s booking page.
- If you take very few online bookings (fewer than 25 a month) and do not want to pay any fee: resOS’s Free plan is forever.
- If you run several venues, want a waiting list or your restaurant is outside Spain: resOS has these, partly as add-ons, and says it works worldwide. taula.ai is one account per restaurant and works in Spain.

How much does resOS cost?
- According to its pricing page, resOS has a Free plan at €0 for up to 25 bookings a month, Basic at €45 a month for up to 350, Plus at €85 for up to 750 and Unlimited at €125, with unlimited bookings. It charges nothing per booking or per cover, and add-ons such as “Reserve with Google” (€7.99 a month) or the waiting list (€7.99) are paid separately. What resOS alternative is there with unlimited bookings?

Can guests book from Google with resOS?
- Yes, with the “Reserve with Google” add-on, which according to its pricing page costs €7.99 a month and is not available on the Free plan. With taula.ai, the restaurant puts the link to its booking page on its Google Business Profile and guests book there, with no commission; it is not an integration inside Google.
