The guest books ten days ahead and, when the day comes, has forgotten.
What we do
Before the booking, taula.ai sends the reminder by WhatsApp to the guest’s phone, with the day, the time and a button to change or cancel it. It comes switched off: you turn it on under Reminders. If the guest left no mobile number, or the month has reached its limit, the reminder goes by email, as it does today.

What is the taula.ai WhatsApp reminder?
- It is the booking reminder taula.ai sends the guest by WhatsApp, as far ahead as the restaurant chooses: the day, the time, the reference and a button to change or cancel the booking. It is the only message that goes by WhatsApp: the confirmation and everything else still go by email, and there is no booking or chatting over WhatsApp.
Are taula.ai WhatsApp reminders available yet?
- Not yet: they are coming soon, with no date. They will be on the Pro plan, up to 50 a month, and on Custom, up to 200; Basic does not include them. They will come switched off and each restaurant turns them on under Reminders. Until then, the taula.ai reminder goes by email, as it always has.
What if the guest has no WhatsApp or the restaurant reaches the monthly limit?
- The reminder goes by email. taula.ai only sends it by WhatsApp if the restaurant has switched it on, the guest left a mobile number and the month has not reached the plan’s limit; in any other case, it goes by email.
