What a free plan usually leaves out
The reminder before the booking
Mesvolo, SnapTable and resmio put it on paid plans; Tableo includes it for free. On taula.ai, email confirmation and reminder come with every plan.
The floor plan
On Mesvolo the floor view is Pro, on SnapTable the floor plan is listed under Starter and on resmio it is a Premium add-on. Tableo includes it for free. On taula.ai it is in Basic.
Website and menu
resmio includes a simple web page and the digital menu. taula.ai Basic includes the restaurant website and the QR menu, in up to four languages.
Volume
resOS gives 25 a month, SnapTable 50, Mesvolo 150 and Reservér 10 a day; Tableo and 10Seat count covers (100 and 50 a month), and resmio sets no cap. taula.ai Basic includes 60 online bookings a month, and bookings the restaurant adds do not count.
The part that does not favour us
When a free plan is enough
- If you get few bookings and only want them to be possible online: Mesvolo gives up to 150 a month and Tableo up to 100 covers, at no cost. taula.ai Basic includes 60 and costs €9.99 + VAT (€12.09) a month.
- If you already have a website and a menu: what taula.ai Basic adds over a free plan is mostly the restaurant website and the QR menu. If those are sorted, it matters less.
- If you want the Google booking button connected: Tableo includes it on its free plan, up to 100 covers a month. taula.ai has no such integration; the booking link is added by hand to the restaurant’s Google listing.

Is there free booking software for restaurants?
- Yes. As of 8 October 2026, 7 restaurant booking systems sold in Spain have a free plan, each with its own cap: SnapTable (50 bookings a month, up to 10 tables and 1 user), resOS (25 bookings a month), Mesvolo (150 bookings received a month and 2 users), Tableo (100 covers a month and 1 user account), Reservér (10 bookings a day), 10Seat (50 covers a month) and resmio (unlimited online bookings). taula.ai does not: its Basic plan costs €9.99 + VAT (€12.09) a month, with a 30-day trial and no card. What do the free plans of restaurant booking systems leave out?
- It depends on the vendor, and each pricing page says so (8 October 2026). Mesvolo keeps the automatic email reminder, guest history, the waiting list and the floor view for its Pro plan. SnapTable lists automatic reminders and the floor plan under Starter. resmio does not cap bookings, but the table organiser, email reminders and statistics are Premium. Reservér limits its free plan to 1 area, 1 service and 5 tables, and resOS does not allow add-ons on it. Tableo includes the floor plan and reminders, and leaves out the waiting list, SMS notifications and reports. The Basic plan of taula.ai (€9.99 + VAT (€12.09) a month) includes the floor plan, guest records, email confirmation and reminder, the QR menu and the restaurant website.
How much does it cost to move from a free plan to a paid one?

There is no setup fee and no lock-in. A restaurant with few bookings that only wants an online form may be fine with another vendor’s free plan.
