Online bookings: what people ask
How does the taula.ai booking system work?
- The restaurant draws its room in taula.ai — tables, seats and shifts — and the system opens a booking page of its own, available 24/7. Availability comes from the tables that are genuinely free, so double bookings cannot happen, and the whole team sees the same live agenda from their phones.
Can bookings come in from the restaurant’s Google listing?
- Yes. The taula.ai booking link can be set as the booking button on the restaurant’s Google Business Profile, free and with no approval needed. Bookings land straight in the agenda without going through a portal or paying commission.
How does taula.ai cut no-shows?
- taula.ai sends automatic reminders at the times the restaurant chooses and can ask the guest to reconfirm. For large parties a deposit can be charged, and it goes straight to the restaurant’s own bank account, not to taula.ai.
Can phone bookings and walk-ins be added?
- Yes. A phone booking or a walk-in is added in three taps in taula.ai and sits in the same agenda as the online bookings, so there are never two lists that disagree.
Can the restaurant ask guests something when they book?
- Yes. The restaurant configures whatever questions it wants on the booking form — allergies, celebrations, which rice, high chairs — and the answers arrive written into the agenda before the guest sits down.
