1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when they visit them. They allow the website to recognise the device and, depending on the type of cookie, to remember information about the visit or the user's preferences.

Alongside cookies, there are other similar technologies (browser local storage, session tokens, etc.) that perform equivalent functions. References to "cookies" in this document include, where applicable, any of these technologies.

2. Cookies used on this Website

The Website uses technical and preference technologies, strictly necessary for its operation and exempt from consent, and a single analytics cookie that does require it and is not activated until the user accepts it, under article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE.

In particular:

• Language preference: the Website stores the language selected by the user in the browser's local storage (localStorage), in order to display content in the preferred language on subsequent visits. This is a preference technology exempt from the consent requirement.
• Cookie decision: the Website stores in localStorage, under the key taula-consent, whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so as not to ask you again. This is a preference technology exempt from consent and you can clear it with the button below.
• Technical session cookies and tokens (management dashboard): the management dashboard (app.taula.ai) uses AWS Cognito to authenticate registered users. In that dashboard, session cookies or tokens strictly necessary to enable login and maintain the user's secure session are used. These technologies are likewise necessary and exempt from the consent requirement.

The Website does not install advertising, ad-personalisation or social-media cookies, and does not incorporate advertising identifiers.

When it loads, the Website makes no requests to third-party servers: fonts are served from our own domain, so a visitor's IP address is not disclosed to external providers merely by visiting the page. The only exception is the audience measurement described below, which is not activated until the user accepts it.

Analytics cookies, subject to consent

The Website may use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, for the sole purpose of knowing which pages are visited and how visitors reach them. The purpose is statistical: it is not used for advertising, for profiling users, or for taking decisions that affect them.

These cookies are not installed by default. On the first visit, a notice is shown with two equally prominent options, "Accept" and "Reject". Until the user accepts, Google's code is not loaded on the page: no cookie is set and no request is made to Google's servers. Closing the notice without choosing does not count as acceptance.

• Cookies: _ga and _ga_<identifier>, from Google, to distinguish visitors and sessions.
• Retention: up to 2 years from the last visit.
• IP address: processed in anonymised form, so it is not stored in full.
• International transfers: Google may process data outside the European Union, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• Legal basis: the user's consent (article 6.1.a GDPR and article 22.2 LSSI-CE).

3. Third-party services

The Website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and uses Stripe to process subscription payments. These providers may set cookies or technologies strictly necessary for the correct operation and security of the service (for example, fraud prevention during the payment process). The Website does not incorporate third-party cookies for advertising or tracking purposes.

4. How to manage and delete cookies

The user may at any time configure their browser to accept, reject or delete the cookies and local storage received from any website. Each browser has its own settings:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Apple Safari
• Microsoft Edge

Deleting the language preference will cause the Website to be displayed again in the default language. In the case of the management dashboard, disabling the session cookies or tokens may prevent login and use of the platform.

5. Changes to the Cookies Policy

The Owner reserves the right to modify this Cookies Policy at any time, in particular if additional cookies are incorporated in the future. In such a case, if the cookies are subject to consent, the corresponding consent will be requested from the user and this policy will be updated with detailed information on the new cookies, their purpose, retention period and the means to withdraw consent.

The user is advised to review this policy periodically. The date of the last update appears at the beginning of this document.
